Flu Death (Augusta) – Maine’s first flu death of the season came in Hancock County. The Maine Center for Disease Control reports a 65-year old resident died during the next to last week of December. Fatal Fire (Acton) – A 28-year old Acton man died when his apartment caught fire during the weekend. The State Fire Marshal’s office reports to Star 97.7 that Edward Roberts’ body turned up in his apartment that passing motorists spotted ablaze late Saturday night.
