Train Derail (Brownville Jct) – A slow-speed derailment sent 10-railroad cars off the tracks in a remote part of Piscataquis County.  The Bangor Daily News reports the cars belong to Eastern Maine Railways which is a subsidiary of J.D Irving.  The train was moving at about 10-miles an hour at the time.  A company spokeswoman declined to say what the cars were carrying.  The … [Read more...] about Local News – February 19, 2019
