Protection order extended (Ellsworth) - Singer songwriter Don McLean's ex-wife received a 2-year extension on a protection order against him. The Bangor Daily News reports Patricia McLean, who now lives in Castine, obtained the protection order against the American Pie singer after an assault last year.
