…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST MONDAY…
Overview: Low pressure will track along the Washington County, and pull away into the Maritimes overnight and Monday. Winter storm warnings remain in effect into late Monday morning, and across northern areas into early afternoon.
Impacts: In areas where the precipitation remains as all snow there will be considerable blowing and drifting snow tonight through Monday night with very low visibility and localized white-outs. In areas where there is ice accretion, the combination of up to 1/2 inch of ice accretion and strong winds tonight could cause tree branches and small trees to snap and create power outages.
Snow and sleet accumulation:

Ending times: Down East, mixed precipitation will taper off this evening and will change back to light snow by around midnight with on and off snow showers continuing during the day Monday.
Wind: North 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 30 to 40 mph.
Ice: Accretion of around 1/2 of an inch expected across coastal Hancock and coastal Washington Counties, with up to 1/3 of an inch possible as far north as Calais. There will be a band of heavier sleet with amounts of 2 to 4 inches possible, mainly in a corridor from southern Penobscot County towards northern Washington County.

Marine: Gale warnings remain in effect until midnight tonight.
