A personal message from Bill DaButler.
I know there are a lot of worthy causes to support and often people ask for donations. It can be hard to help every cause, even if we want to… but personally, I have chosen the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life event, because of how cancer has affected my life. At the age of 6, I lost my mother to cancer. It was devastating. I know I am not alone, nearly everyone has had their lives touched by cancer, be it through their own personal battle or the battle of a loved one – cancer has taken too much from too many. I’m participating in the Relay For Life at the Ellsworth Middle School track because I know I am making a difference in the fight to end cancer. The funds the Star 97.7 team, and other area teams raise fund important cancer research. It also supports cancer patient programs and services, and goes toward other important activities that help save lives from cancer. Join the fight, consider making a donation today…
