(Machias, Maine) – The Blueberry Festival T-shirt Design Contest submission deadline has been extended!
The new deadline is May 15. But, hurry! This is your last chance for this year’s contest.
Every year a different design is featured on the T-shirts, which are sold to hundreds of Festival goers. Co-Chair, Nancy Lewis, said that it’s always exciting to see so many colorful, creative designs.
“This contest attracts entries, not only from right here in Maine, but from all across the country,” said Lewis. “People of all ages are invited to submit a design and be part of this wildly popular event!”
The unique T-shirts are in huge demand and even have become collectors’ items for some folks. The winning design also will be used for a United States Postal Cancellation stamp that is available during the festival, and for one month after the festival at the Machias, ME post office.
So, get your creative blueberry juices flowing! Designs should be simple and catch the fun of the festival. But hurry, remember the deadline is Tuesday, May 1st.
