Roads
(Undated) – Several schools in the Greater Bangor area have called off classes for the day as road crews work to clean up messy highways. Along the coast, though, its business as usual as the temperature rose high enough overnight for the precipitation to be all rain. Inland, the temperatures hovered around freezing overnight, creating a layer of wet, heavy snow. Plow trucks have dropped a constant load of salt on major highways to try to keep them open. Emera Maine reports more than 26-hundred outages this morning, nearly all of them in the Greater Bangor area.
