Dogs Adoptions
(Bangor) A long line is likely outside the Bangor Humane Society as nearly 20 puppies and adult dogs go up for adoption at Noon today. The dogs were rescued earlier this month from a high-kill shelter in Mississippi. The Bangor Daily News reports state law requires that all dogs imported from out of state be quarantined for 2 to 5 days before being placed in new homes, so the puppies were placed in temporary foster homes while the adult transfer dogs have been quarantined in the humane society’s shelter on Mount Hope Avenue. Learn more about the adoption process before you show up by logging on to: Bangor Humane dot Org.
