
From Augusta Deputy Chief Jared Mills:
“On February 7th at 9:30 A.M. Probation and Parole requested assistance from the Augusta Police Department’s Bureau of Investigations to assist with a probation check on School Street. Upon their arrival Lindsay Fortin, 28 years old from Augusta, was taken into custody by Probation Officers for a violation of her probation. A subsequent search revealed drug paraphernalia and items associated with drug use inside the residence. Additionally, $7802.00 in cash was also located and seized. A State Police K-9 was called to the residence to assist with a search and 81 grams of heroin was also located. The 81 grams has a street value of approximately $16,000.
Brandon Darveau, 24 years old was arrested for Aggravated Trafficking and also charged with Criminal Forfeiture. Darveau’s bail was set at $50,000 cash.”
