From the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department:
“On 1/17/2018 at approximately 0756 hrs, Christina Clark (43YOA) of Orrington was traveling South on Main Road in Dedham in a Tan 2002 GMC Envoy when she lost control of her vehicle due to slippery road conditions. Ms. Clark’s vehicle crossed into the Northbound lane of traffic and collided head on with a Black 2006 Subaru Legacy being operated by Adrian Bryant (30YOA) of Ellsworth.
Ms. Bryant was then struck by a Silver 2012 Chevrolet Suburban which was also traveling North and being operated by Kevin Ramsdell (48YOA) of Milbridge who was unable to avoid the collision. Also traveling North was Jeffrey Crossman (55YOA) of Ellsworth who was operating a White 2008 GMC Pickup and was attempting to avoid a collision with Mr. Ramsdell when his vehicle was struck by the Black Subaru. The collision with the Black Subaru pushed Mr. Crossman’s vehicle into the Silver Suburban before it struck the guardrail and came to rest on the Northbound side of the road. The Silver Suburban also came to rest on the Northbound side of the road after it’s collision with the White Pickup.
The Tan Envoy came to rest in the middle of the roadway after colliding with the Black Subaru. The black Subaru spun several times in the roadway after being struck by the other vehicles. It then struck the guardrail on the Northbound side of the roadway before coming to rest against the guardrail.
Four people were transported to local hospitals to be treated for non life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. All vehicles involved were towed from the scene, two of which were considered a total loss.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Maine State Police, Lucerne/Dedham Fire Department, Capital Ambulance and Maine DOT.”
