From Public Safety Dept spokesman Steve McCausland:
“State Police say one of two men wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Millinocket man last month will be in Bangor court this afternoon. Christopher Murray was transported to the Penobscot County Jail over the weekend from North Carolina, where he was arrested December 27. Murray will face a murder charge when he makes his first court appearance in Maine at 3pm. He is charged in connection with the shooting death of Wayne Lapierre of Millinocket who was shot inside his home on December 19. A second man – Tony Locklear – is still being sought in connection with the homicide. Locklear is believed to still be in North Carolina.”
