Lincoln woman charged with Hindering Apprehension of wanted killer

From Sgt Tim Cotton of the Bangor Police Department:

“On the afternoon of April 21^st, 2017, Bangor Police Detectives arrested Cindy McVicar, 45 years of age from Lincoln on a charge of Hindering Apprehension and/or Prosecution (Class B).

This arrest is the result of substantial steps Ms. McVicar took to interfere with the arrest and prosecution of Antoinne Bethea.

Ms. McVicar was taken to the Penobscot County Jail.  No further information is available at this time as the investigation is ongoing.”
